Richard Cooper, owner of R Cooper Consulting, is among the nation’s top urban entomologists with over 30 years of experience in both academic and applied settings, He received his BS (1986), MS (1991) and most recently his and PhD (2015) in Entomology and has served as a technical director since 1991 at Cooper Pest Solutions and Terminix. He is frequently invited to speak at industry and scientific meetings and is widely published in trade and peer reviewed publications, including two books and seven book chapters. Besides being an educator and developer of pest management programs, he is frequently sought out by the manufacturing community to conduct field research trials and has served as a subject matter expert in more than 30 legal cases involving bed bugs.
